Providing tailored recovery plans for youth impacted by trauma.
At Child and Youth Partnerships, trauma-informed care is the foundation of everything we do. We recognize that many of the children, youth, and families we serve have experienced complex trauma—including abuse, neglect, displacement, and community violence.
Our wellness and creative expression workshops are grounded in trauma-informed care, recognizing that healing happens through safety, choice, and connection. By offering supportive, judgment-free spaces, we help youth process experiences, reduce stress, and build resilience through movement, mindfulness, and art-based activities.
Domestic abuse can deeply disrupt the bond between a child and their non-abusive parent, often leaving emotional distance, guilt, and fractured trust in its wake. At Child and Youth Partnerships, we offer early intervention services that begin with a free, trauma-informed assessment to identify each child’s unique needs. From there, we provide referrals to community-based services such as parenting support, therapy, and mentorship. Our holistic, age-appropriate programming includes safety planning, tutoring, youth mentoring, lifestyle coaching, staff training workshops, and enrichment opportunities like yoga, martial arts, Zumba, and arts and crafts. We also offer youth apprenticeship opportunities to foster real-world growth and long-term resilience. Each of these supports is designed to rebuild trust, restore connection, and help children and caregivers experience joyful, healing moments together. Because every safe, loving moment shared helps rewrite the story—and restore what was interrupted by abuse.
